In today's world, where global political and economic dynamics are undergoing rapid and significant transformations, the implications for national security, economic development, and international relations are profound. As a member of the global community, it is essential not only to engage in domestic academic exchanges but also to conduct cross-national dialogues. Aligning with the College's English-taught "Asia and China Studies" master's program, this initiative aims to enhance international students' learning experiences by inviting leading international scholars to participate in joint teaching and deliver keynote lectures. This effort further enriches the College's achievements in English-medium instruction in international relations studies.

Through this year's English-taught courses, the Center aspires to invite international scholars to deliver lectures and keynote speeches entirely in English. These lectures will explore the driving forces behind these global changes, demonstrate their impact on the global structure, and seek effective policy responses. Special emphasis is placed on analyzing geopolitical developments and fostering interaction between faculty and students. As a result, students will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of contemporary international affairs, equipping them with a solid foundation in academic theory and current event analysis for future policymaking and global collaboration.

This lecture features Professor Kok Seong Goh from the University of Malaya, who will provide insights into the current Indo-Pacific situation. Professor Goh will engage in meaningful exchanges with scholars and students at the University, offering a valuable opportunity for academic and cultural interaction.
