The "Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Data Programming Training Camp" sponsored by the Institute of National Policy and Public Affairs of National Chung Hsing University was held on November 10, 2024, in Room 122 of the Social Management Building. Professor Karol Ho  from the University of Texas at Dallas was specially invited. Come to the school to give a lecture. The course focuses on developing practical skills and is suitable for students with basic programming skills.

 The course spans two days, with the first day focusing on building interactive data visualization and web applications, such as Quarto website design and Shiny application development. On the second day, we further explored data management and analysis, machine learning model construction, and the application of generative artificial intelligence in data programming. Students will learn to use R language for API data collection, text analysis, and visual analysis, and they will comprehensively improve their data processing and application capabilities.

 After completing the course, participants will be able to master interactive dashboard design, predictive model building, and efficient application of generative AI, which is highly applicable to the actual needs of data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
