The "Data Analytics Colloquium", co-organized by the Institute of National Policy and Public Affairs of National Chung Hsing University and the University of Texas at Dallas, has successfully concluded from October to December 2024. This forum brings together top scholars in political science methodology and policy science from around the world to present a series of exciting special lectures.
Highlights of the forum include representatives from well-known universities such as the University of Texas at Dallas, California Institute of Technology (CalTech), Texas A&M University, and the University of Houston. Five experts and professors participated. Topics cover cutting-edge issues such as international trade policy, social science modeling, and GPU-accelerated data linking. Each event includes 150 minutes of theme lectures and real-time interactive Q&A, allowing attendees to understand the latest research progress worldwide.
The forum has set up a dedicated website (https://dacolloquium.com/) to provide lecture recordings and data analysis program sharing to promote knowledge sharing. This innovative model breaks geographical limitations and strengthens international teaching and research networks. This series of forums attracted more than 230 teachers and students from home and abroad.
This forum has entered its fifth year since it was held, fully demonstrating the profound strength of National Chung Hsing University in cross-field integration and international academic exchanges and also opening up more possibilities for global cooperation in data science and policy research.
