Doctoral students who wish to apply for the 2025 NSTC Doctoral Student Research Scholarship (allocated by the National Science and Technology Council) are kindly requested to submit all required documents to the Office of the Graduate Institute of International Politics (GIIP), National Chung Hsing University, by Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The GIIP will compile and forward the applications (including stamped hard copies and electronic files) to the College of Law and Politics by August 18, 2025.
★ Starting from 2025, the NSTC has expanded the eligibility criteria. Application details are as follows:
Eligibility: All doctoral students enrolled in September 2025, including both first-year and continuing students.
Scholarship Amount and Duration: NT$40,000 per month per recipient, for up to 3 years (from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2028). For students graduating within the 3-year period, the scholarship will end in the month of graduation.
Required Documents:
(1) Application Form: Please use the updated version attached. Be sure to fill in the date of admission and current year level.
(2) Transcripts: Submit transcripts for all graduate-level study. Continuing students must submit both master’s and doctoral transcripts.
(3) Doctoral Research Proposal: Maximum 10 pages including references, in either Chinese or English. Proposals exceeding this limit will not be reviewed.
(4) Other Supporting Documents: Optional, no page limit.
